UN Security council blocks imports of aramid to North Korea

Geneva -- The United Nations Security Council has imposed sanctions on five companies and five individuals in connection with the nuclear test carried out by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in May.
The Council committee also singled out two goods - para-aramid fibre and graphite for machinery - for inclusion on the sanctions list.
The decision means that no manufacturer of para-aramid fibre will be permitted to export the material to Norh Korea while the ban remains in force
