Hankook to sponsor German soccer event

Neu-Isenburg, Germany, - Hankook Tire is one of the official sponsors of Audi's 100-year anniversary. The car company will mark the occasion with a major footballing event on 29th and 30th July 2009 at Munich's Allianz Arena in honour of Audi's 100-year anniversary for the world.

The event will feature teams including the German record holder, FC Bayern München, AC Milan; Manchester United; and Argentine champions and three-time Intercontinental Cup winners Boca Juniors, from Buenos Aires.

Jin-Wook Choi, Executive Vice-President and COO of Hankook Tire in Europe, says: “Naturally, it is a great honour for us as one of the original equipment suppliers to Audi to be able to get involved in this sporty highlight for Audi's hundred-year anniversary.”
