Vibracoustic extends work for Tata
ERJ staff report (DS)
Mumbai, India -- Tata's latest model, the Indica Vista has been named as Indian car with the best ride quality by the Indian magazine „What Car“. The vibration control solutions were provided by Vibracoustic.
Vibracoustic developed the entire requirements of Tata Indica Vista for vibration damping components - suspension bushes, strut mounts and engine mounts. A unique feature of the 2-year development process: the Tata Group had sent a complete engine to the Vibracoustic Tech Center to diagnose the mass inertia and the position of the center of gravity.
We are very proud that Tata had asked us to support this project with our vibration damping technology. We have noted for some time now that the B-Segment will grow higher than average. Combined with the increasing importance of India, it is vital to expand our activities in this areaâ€, explained Dr. Holger Daners, Director Strategic Marketing at Vibracoustic.
