London -- -- Elemica, a supply chain services provider, and RubberNetwork, a global sourcing and supply chain company said they have merged.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The management of Elemica remains unchanged by the "merger". The companies did not say whether the underlying data structures of RubberNetwork will be preserved, or whether they will be replaced entirely by Elemica systems.
Elemica was unable to respond to press enquiries and a spokeswoman could not say what might happen in the future. The company had not responded to media requests four days after questions were posed. She said Elemica has minimal experience in the tyre and rubber sector, so the merger made perfect sense. RubberNetwork declined to make any comment.
