Lanxess announces speakers at Rubber's centenary event on 12 Sept.

Cologne, Germany -- Lanxess AG has announced a preliminary programme for its 100 years of Rubber celebration due to be held on 12 Sept in Cologne. The venue is Gürzenich, about 5 minutes' walk from the main cathedral in the historic city.
The event will be opened at 10 am by Lanxess AG's ceo, Axel Heitmann. Other speakers include
- Georg Weiburg, member of the board of management, Daimler Trucks
- Didier Miraton, Managing partner of the Michelin Group
- Dr Ernts Osen, Head of matgerial development, Freudenberg & Co. GmbH
- Dr Claus Jessen. member of the board of management, Festo AG
A panel discussion on the innovative potential of rubber will include
- Dr Werner Breuers, member of the board of management, Lanxess AG
- Marc Daniel, material research director, Michelin
- Fritz Katzensteiner, Managing Director, WdK
- Franz Josef Wolf, Director, Woco Industrietechnik
- Dr-Ing Burkhard Wies, v-p tyre development at Continental AG
- Prof. Horst Wildemann, Munich Technical University
