Toyo to adopt Eco mark for fuel-efficient tyres
ERJ staff report (TB)
Osaka, Japan - Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd. will start marking its fuel-efficient tyres - those that have at least 10 percent better rolling resistance than conventional products - sold globally with an “Eco†mark the company now uses in Japan.
Toyo said it will mould the mark - a capital E integrated into a stylised leaf - into all passenger, light truck and truck/bus radials that meet the criteria.
Toyo said it aims to shift all products to eco-friendly products by around 2015.
