Ameraal Beltech improves splicer unit

Heerhugowaard, The Netherlands -- Ammeraal Beltech has announced some improvements to its tyre industry systems.
The Maestro Splice press offers a new drive -- the Ultrasync positive drive -- which is said to reduce downtime significantly. The Maestro splice press is constructed of light weight materials.
A second innovation is designed to optimise the process during batch-off. The company has developed the new modular belt OWL. Non-stick properties, heat resistance and reliability are improved. The systemm uses a new plastic modular series uni RTB roller top belt. This is designed to optimise tyre quality from rubber mixing up to final tyre handling.
