Meeting to discuss Sustainable Fillers in Rubber scheduled for London

London -- An afternoon technical discussion meeting on the subject of Sustainable Fillers in Rubber is to be held on oFriday 25th September 2009. The event is organised by organised by the Rubber in Engineering Group of the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining, London, UK

Programme:

• Godfrey Short (RockTron Ltd) - The use of beneficiated pulverised fuel ash (PFA) derived from coal fired power stations as a filler for rubbers and plastics.
• Jane Clark (University of Loughborough) - Biopolymers as sustainable fillers for elastomers
• Keith Hall (Crumb Rubber Ltd) - Use of crumb rubber in the polymer industry
• Ton Peijs and Emiliano Bilotti (Queen Mary, University of London) - Sustainable fillers for the polymer industry.
