Online tyre retailer warns of shortage of small winter tyres

Hanover, Germany -- An online tyre retailer says car scrapping policies across Europe may lead to a shortage of winter tyres in small sizes and is urging consumers to buy early in case stocks run out.

Delticom said in a press release that a large number of new cars in the small and mini car categories have been bought under the new scrappage schemes, These came on summer tyres, but as winter approaches, there will be greater than expected demand in these sizes.
