Alliance makes first tyres at Indian factory

Tirunelveli, India -- Alliance Tire has produced the firdt tyres from its new plant in India. The factory will begin commercial production before the end of the year.
The first tyres were produced during the pre-commissioning and start-up phase, and one of them was the 550/60-22.5 Flotation tyre, which was later signed by Alliance's management and production teams and is now being displayed at the plant.
An official inauguration event and announcement of the plant are expected in a few weeks time.
The company said it has introduced three new product families, in the last two months each of which answers a need of a different industry.
Meanwhile, Alliance is upgrading its ability to answer its current and future clients' needs rapidly and efficiently across Europe.
