Yokohama helps Philippines typhoon victims

Clark Freeport, Philippines - Yokohama Tire Philippines Inc. (YTPI) has extended its assistance to the victims of the Mt. Arayat mudslide caused by Typhoon Ondoy, the company recently said.
A relief operation was held Friday 2 Oct in which YTPI employees handed each affected family a set of mat, mosquito net, blanket, pail and charcoal stove at their evacuation area in Arayat, Pampanga. Around 297 families have been left homeless after the mudslide.
Aside from this initiative, YTPI also donated 25 sacks of rice to Clark Development Corporation as an answer to their call to assist the victims of Typhoon Ondoy. (RD)
