Michelin works with Agri supplier
ERJ staff report (DS)
Paris -- Michelin has said it has signed a long-term cooperation agreement with Neuhausen, Switzerland-based Agco, a major supplier to the agricultural sector.
The two companies said they are working together to strengthen relations especially in these three areas: Research and Development, Marketing and Supply Chain.
With this new agreement, Agco will equip some of its new tractors with Michelin tyres in order to continue to meet farmers' growing performance criteria. Today's farmers, said the companies, are increasingly more interested in heightened productivity, environmental protection and safety - three priorities that are shared by both companies' Research and Development teams.
