Indian auto business studied
ERJ staff report (DS)
Dublin, Ireland -- Report Linker has published a new report titled, Indian Automobile Sector Analysis. The 140-page report was first published in April 2008 and is available for a price of around Euro 800, depending on delivery options.
The publishers say, "De-licensing in 1991 put the Indian automobile industry on a new growth trajectory, which attracted foreign auto giants to set up their production facilities in the country to take advantage of various benefits it offers. Large middle class population, growing earning power and strong technological capability have been boosting automobile demand for past few years. Despite economic slowdown, the Indian automobile sector is expected to see high growth in coming years, especially in passenger cars segmen."
ERJ has not seen this report and can make no comment on the quality of the research or of the conclusions.
