Bendix makes Smartire TPMS available through dealers

ELYRIA, Ohio - SmarTire Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) by Bendix CVS are now available to fleets through the broad network of Bendix OES and independent aftermarket partners across North America.

SmarTire monitors the pressure and temperature of each tyre on a commercial vehicle to provide real-time tyre status information to the driver or maintenance technician. It also warns the driver of tyre-related problems before they become dangerous. SmarTire reads pressure and temperature information from inside the tyre and communicates wirelessly to an on-board receiver, which forwards the information to an easy-to-read, multifunction, two-inch display installed on the vehicle dash.
