DSM confirms possible split of Elastomers business
ERJ staff report (DS)
London -- Further to press reports last week, DSM Elastomers has confirmed that it is, "investigating the possibility of a separate divestment of Sarlink and Keltan." Jan-Paul de Vries, president of DSM Elastomers added, "the combined sale of Sarlink and Keltan remains also an option."
Previously, DSM had always said the intention is to sell the two businesses as a single unit, but a report in the 30 October edition of the Financial Times said potential buyers might be more interested in the Keltan (EPDM) business than the Sarlink (TPE-V) business.
