Conti picks tyres sales partner in Saudi

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia -- Continental AG has selected Almutlak Trade & Industries to sell its passenger and light truck as well as truck tyres in Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Mohamed Al Mutlak, managing director of Almutlak Trade & Industries noted: “We are quite proud to be Continental's exclusive sales partner in Saudi Arabia.”

Almutlak Trade & Industries, based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, was founded in 1965. The company is part of the Almutlak Group and reported sales of SAR 512 million in 2008 (equal to about EUR 92 million) with a workforce of 586. Beside of selling tyres Almutlak produces and sells also trailers, vehicle parts and filters. Currently Almutlak operates six tyre outlets in Saudi Arabia.
