Kwik-Fit claims nitrogen is better

London -- for just £1, motorists can inflate their tyres with nitrogen at Kwik-Fit stores in the UK

Kwik-Fit said, "Fleets can prolong tyre life, boost fuel economy and improve the road safety of their company cars and vans by inflating tyres with nitrogen instead of air."

Mike Wise, head of Kwik-Fit Fleet, said: “Research shows that correctly inflated tyres can last for up to 25% longer, and also improve fuel economy by up to 5%.
