Mesnac opens European tech centre with ex Matador staff

Dubnica, Slovakia -- Qingdao Mesnac Co., Ltd opened new European subsidiary - Mesnac European Research and Technical Centre ( MERTC ). The unit will design machines aimed at the European tyre and rubber market.
The centre is led by Karol Vanko and staffed entirely by former employees of Continental Machinery, which recently closed the former Matador Machinery operations in Puchov, Slovakia.
MERTC will concentrate its activities on the design of rubber machines according to customer requirements and latest world trends. Mesnac is currently specialised in the mixing area and testing equipment. Through the former Matador operations, MERTC is intended to help Mesnac to become one of the world leaders in tyre building area and curing area too.
Apart from machinery design, MERTC will open a service centre for existing machinery. This wil be active from 1 Jan, 2010.
