Goodyear's Kramer to chair RMA

Washington - The Rubber Manufacturers Association has elected Richard Kramer, chief operating officer of Goodyear and president of Goodyear's North American Tire business unit, as chairman of the board for the coming two years.
Kramer succeeds Jim MacMaster, executive vice president, business division for Yokohama Tire Corp.
Kramer said that a strong, effective trade association is crucial to ensuring that industry concerns and issues are heard by federal and state policymakers.
Kramer has served on the RMA board since 2007 and has chaired the association's finance committee.
