Akron, Ohio -- The ACS Rubber Division is moving its office off the University of Akron campus to nearby property owned by the school.
The division office is relocating to 411 Wolf Ledges Pkwy, Suite 201. The association said the change will provide substantial cost savings and provide abundant parking spaces, which has been a problem with the current headquarters on campus.
During the Nov. 30-Dec. 2 move the division office will be closed, and while its Web site, www.rubber.org, will be live, division staff may not have access to e-mail or phone calls, although messages will be kept.
The organisation has resided on campus for decades. Its new site is on property owned by the UA Research Foundation.
