REACH workshop on 'Substances' can be watched online

Helsinki -- Tomorrow's REACH workshop on substance identity concepts under REACH, can be watched online. The workshop aims to clarify how a substance is defined.

This may be of interest to all rubber companies who create compounds. All advice to date has suggested that a new compound is not a new substance, as it is created simply by mixing other ingredients. However the curing reaction is a chemical reaction, which might, according to a strict reading of the rules, lead to the creation of a new substance.
