Wacker, Asahi Kasei mark 10 years of co-operation

Tokyo -- Wacker Asahikasei Silicone Co., Ltd. marked its tenth anniversary earlier this week. The company, headquartered in Tokyo and with a production facility in Akeno, was founded in 1999 as a 50:50 joint venture between Munich-based chemical group Wacker and Asahi Kasei Chemicals Corporation. It has some 100 employees and produces and markets silicone products such as rubber grades, emulsions and fluids for applications in the electronics, automotive, construction and textile industries.
