Poland's chemical industry studied

Paris -- Business Monitor Internationalhas published a new report titled, Poland Petrochemicals Report Q1 2010. The 54-page report was first published in November 2009 and is available for a price of around Euro 289, depending on delivery options.
The publishers say, "The Polish petrochemicals industry is expected to outperform regional peers due t the strength of domestic household spending from 2010, according to BMI's latest Poland Petrochemicals Report. In 2009, Poland had olefins capacities of 700,000tpa ethylene, 475,000tpa propylene and 60,000tpa butadiene. Polymer capacities include 320,000tpa HDPE, 170,000tpa LDPE, 300,000tpa PP, 550,000tpa PVC, 90,000tpa PS and 120,000tpa PET. In the fertiliser segment, it had capacities of 1.4mn tpa in both ammonia and urea."
