Neu-Isenburg, Germany -- Hankook Tire has extended its sponsorship agreement with German football team Bundesliga Borussia Dortmund.
For this season will aslo advertise in the stadiums of Bayer Leverkusen, Eintracht Frankfurt, VfB Stuttgart and VFL Wolfsburg, and will extend its sponsorship to a number of Spanish team in the 2010/2011 season, a 20 Aug company statement said.
“Sports sponsorship and especially top-class football sponsorship fully supports our motto 'driving emotion'â€, says Jin-Wook Choi, Hankook Tire executive vice president and coo for Europe. “We understand our brand as being highly emotional and so is football. The sponsorships will be part of our European-wide medium- to long-term strategy to increase our brand awareness and strengthen the sympathy with our brand,†he added.
