CURC to hold rubber meeting in Shanghai

Shanghai, China -- The 10th International Exhibition on Rubber Technology and The 4th Asian Essen Tire Show will take place in Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 25 - 27 November this year.
In a press release, the organisers said, "At present, China is the biggest country of rubber consumption around the world. With the rapid growth of China Automobile industry, tyre production and non-tyre rubber production consume more than 70 percent of the total rubber resource. China has been the biggest rubber consumer for the past eight consecutive years with total rubber consumption quantity in year 2009 amounts to 6.2 mil tons, among which there are 2.9 million tons of natural rubber, 3.3 million tons of synthetic rubber, including domestic producing natural rubber and synthetic rubber 0.63 million tons and 1.97 million tons respectively."
