Yokohama releases 3rd 'Tire Tips' video in US

Fullerton, California -- Yokohama Tire Corp. (YTC) has released a third installment of its consumer educational videos called “Tire Tips” that can viewed on YTC's website or on YouTube.

The latest video, “How to choose a truck/SUV tyre,” is hosted by off-road racing champions Cameron and Heidi Steele. Mr. Steele, who is also a TV commentator, was the host in the first two Yokohama Tire Tips videos: “The importance of properly inflated tyres” and “How to read the sidewall of a tyre.”

“It's not easy trying to figure out what type of truck tyre to get,” said Paul Algarin, Yokohama Tire product analyst. “As Cameron and Heidi explain, there are many factors to consider, including size, tread, performance and comfort. And who better to give truck tyre tips than off-road stars like Cameron and Heidi? Their explanations are engaging and easy to understand.”

Mr. Algarin said future videos will focus on subjects such as ways to achieve better fuel efficiency, judging tread wear and choosing the correct winter tyre. The next video is slated for September.
