Yokohama's Guiney to discuss orange oil at TIA Environmental Symposium

Ocean City, Maryland -- “Orange is the New Green†will be the topic of Dan Guiney, director of technical services at Yokohama Tire Corp., at the Tire Industry Association (TIA) Environmental Symposium, to be held in Ocean City Sept. 30-Oct. 2.
Mr. Guiney will describe Yokohama's use of orange oil, a natural, renewable resource, to make passenger tyres that are 80-percent petroleum-free while offering superb road grip and gas savings to consumers. He will discuss how orange oil is part of Yokohama's “Green Initiative,†an overall company campaign to make world-class, environmentally friendly tyres with zero-emission manufacturing.
