VMI makes sales appointment

Epe, Netherlands -- Effective August 16th, 2010 Dirk Reurslag is appointed as the new Vice President Sales & Projects of VMI. He succeeds Harm Voortman, who has recently been appointed as CEO of the VMI Group.

Dirk Reurslag has been active in the company's Sales & Projects department since 1994. His recent task was to manage the global tyre and rubber equipment makers' sales in Europe, Russia and Middle East.

VMI said it is determined to pick up again the post-2009 trend of growth in business volume and to maintain it's technological leadership.in solutions for the tyre production. The VMI Group has sales offices in the Netherlands, Russia, USA, Brazil, China and Malaysia. Production is now concentrated in the Netherlands, China and Brazil.
