Bridgestone adds detail to India capacity - reports

Kheda, Madhya Pradesh, India -- Bridgestone India held a press conference yesterday to add more details to its previously-announced expansion plans in India. The company is building a truck/bus tyre line at its existing car tyre facility in Kheda and building a new passenger car tyre factory in Pune.
Numerous Indian newspapers carried reports of a press conference announcing the project, but Bridgestone did not respond to requests for clarification.
