Court tells US to scrap import duties on Chinese tyres

New York - The United States Court on International Trade has said the US Commerce Department should scrap the tariffs it imposed in 2008 on tyres imported from China. The ruling was made on the case, GPX Int'l Tire Corp. v. United States, by Judge Jane Restani, the senior judge at the court, on 1 October 2010.
Xinuha reported that the China's Commerce Ministry welcomed the decision.
