One third of UK motorists buy tyres online - Delticom

Hanover, Germany -- Price, choice and convenience are the principle reasons why UK motorists are increasingly buying tyres online according to recent research sponsored by online tre retailer Delticom..
The survey of 1000 motorists revealed price as being the most important reason for buying online. Over 80 percent of respondents indicated that buying online was cheaper and over 70 percent said it was easier and quicker than more traditional methods: over 50 percent sited the ability to order from the comfort of home as being important.
Following purchase, a growing number of buyers opt for the tyres to be delivered to a tyre fitting outlet partnering the online retailer with customers appreciating the convenience of a fitting service that is both local to them and fully experienced in the tyre replacement business.
