Land Rover approves Conti winter tyres for OE
ERJ staff report (DS)
London -- Continental's ContiCrossContact Winter tyres have been approved in sizes; 235/55R19 105H for the Land Rover Freelander and 275/40R20 106V for the Range Rover Sport.
Winter tyres become effective when temperatures drop below 7ºC. Conti said, "the advanced silica compound gives excellent traction and braking performance on cold, frosty/icy and even wet winter roads. On the ContiCrossContact Winter wide circumferential tread grooves give high protection against aquaplaning and its low rolling resistance ensures economical fuel consumption."
