Alliance adopts more global name, corporate ID
Brentwood, Tennessee - Israel's Alliance Tire Co. Ltd. is adopting Alliance Tire Group as its new name and corporate identity, reflecting the firm's growing global manufacturing, marketing and sales base.
The new identity also underscores Alliance's acquisition in late 2009 of key GPX International Tire Co. assets, primarily the Galaxy and Primex brands. With these additional brands and a new factory in India, ATG is projecting sales of $500 million by 2012, nearly double the sales generated in 2009.
“Alliance Tire has a heritage of technology and innovation spanning 60 years in the agriculture and forestry segments, while Galaxy and Primex have earned a similar reputation for innovation in the construction and OTR categories,†CEO Yogesh Mahansaria said.
To achieve its objective of being a world leader in off-highway tyres, ATG has expanded its manufacturing, warehousing and sales and service footprints worldwide, he said, noting the company's two factories - in Hadera, Israel, and Tirunelveli, India - represent a manufacturing capacity of 85 000 tonnes per year.
ATG is marking its evolution with a new logo and new URL, www.alliance-tire-group.com.
Mahansaria and the company's North American leadership team will be in Alliance's booth at the 2-5 Nov Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas Convention Center, booth No. 43207, along with a display of many of the company's OTR tyres.
