Tokyo NR : more records fall as prices rise further

London -- Rubber prices jumped to new all-time highs on Tuesday on supply fears.
In Tokyo, Tocom's benchmark six-month price touched its record high of yen 522.5 ($6.25) before closing at yen 519.3 ($6.21) per kg, after afternoon trading on Tuesday 15 Feb. contracts for March delivery rose above Yen 534 ($6.41)
In Singapore short-dated RSS3 rose to a high of $6.39 before falling to $6.38 at the close, up by around ? cents on last week's close. Short-dated TSR20 also closed up slightly at $5.75/kg .
Indian prices on the NMCE (National Multi-Commodity Exchange) rose slightly, closing at Rs 257.7 ($5.?66)/kg for May delivery.
Chinese prices on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SFE) eased very slightly, with some May contracts trading at yuan 43.0/kg ($6.52).
