Pirelli to increase US tyre prices
ERJ staff report (LMH)
Milan -- Pirelli is to increase the prices in the US of its moto tyres by 3 percent, and its car light truck tyres by 5 percent, the company said in a 21 Feb statement.
Pirelli attributed this rise to increasing raw material costs, in particular natural rubber.
The Italian company said the new prices of moto tyres would be effective from 1 Mar, while the new prices of car and light truck tyres would be effective from 1 Apr 2011.
