Denka raises prices for CR
ERJ staff report (DS)
Tokyo -- Denki Kagaku Kogyo K.K.(Denka) said it is increasing prices of its polychloroprene rubber by at least U$ 500/MT and EUR 350/MT across all overseas markets and end-users.
Subject to the terms of any applicable contracts, these price increases will take effect no later than July 1, 2011.
The company blamed the increase on higher post-earthquake utility costs in Japan and also on higher raw materials pricing.
