ERJ staff report (DS)
Shanghai, China -- Jiangsu Sinorgchem Technology Co., Ltd. said it has successfully put into production a new 'green' process for the manufacture of TMQ anti-oxidant.
The company has added a 5000 tonne / year line using the new process at its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shandong Sinorgchem International. Sinorgchem said the new process was successful at first attempt. It adds that it has a number of (unspecified) metrics which suggest the product quality is comparable with existing big-name brand suppliers of TMQ .
Sinorgchem's TMQ is based on ketoamines. The product has two kinds: H-TMQ and S-TMQ. The effective ingredients of the product are the dimer, trimer and tetramer of 1, 2-dihydro-2, 2, 4-trimethyl-quinoline, the active contents of H-TMQ and S-TMQ are over 60% and 80% respectively.
