Bridgestone Europe appoints new head for commercial tyres

Brussels -- Starting August, 1st 2011 Yves Kerstens, Member of the Board of Bridgestone Europe, will take up the position of Managing Director, Commercial Products Business Unit.

In this role Yves will be responsible for Truck & Bus, Off-the-Road and Agricultural tyres, for both Original Equipment and Replacement Markets. As such he will provide his directions and work across all regions and all Divisions in Europe.

Mac Ohashi, CEO & President, Bridgestone Europe commented “From his current position of Vice president, Supply Chain and IT, Yves will bring with him a wide range of experience and capabilities as demonstrated in the development of a European Logistic and Supply Chain structure.”
