Didier Miraton to quit Michelin board - report

Paris -- Le Monde and local papers around Clermont-Ferrand are reporting that Didier Miraton is to resign his position as managing partner of Michelin later today.
Le Monde reports that new managing partner Jean-Dominique Senard intends to restructure Michelin's innovation activities, and Miraton intends to resign over the issue.
Miraton was known to be ambitious and wanted the CEO position after Michel Rollier's term. Miraton's five-year contract was due to expire in 2012
