NR prices drop sharply over weekend

On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract dropped by 11 yen over the weekend, closing at yen 350 ($4.33) per kg on Monday 27 June. Shorter-dated prices also moved down, closing at around yen 360.

In Singapore, SGX said September RSS3 was down around $0.23 higher than Thursday's prices at around $4.23, with contracts for December 2011 trading at around $4.42. Short-dated TSR 20 was also trading down by about $0.17 at $4.23.

In India, the NMCE saw July deliveries fall by Rs 4 to around Rs210 ($4.65) per kilo

In China, the Shanghai Futures Exchange also saw prices fall by over one yuan, with July deliveries trading at around Yuan 32.7 ($5.05) per kilo
