Goodyear confirms re-naming of Sava Tires

Luxembourg -- A spokesman for Goodyear has confirmed that from tomorrow, (1 July) its subsidiary in Slovenia will be known as Goodyear Dunlop Sava Tires, d.o.o.. The company was previously known as Sava Tires.
Goodyear said the company's net sales in 2010 were 374 million EUR (25 percent increase). Goodyear Dunlop Sava Tires also increased its earnings by more than 28 percent, namely by 3 million EUR to 14,3 million EUR.
Over the past 13 years Goodyear has invested 170 million in improving the working conditions and the plant's productivity. Thierry Villard, Managing Director of Goodyear Dunlop Sava Tires, confirmed that Goodyear plans to continue investing in the company.
