Calif. lobby group to sue US EPA over carbon

San Francisco, California -- An environmental lobby group in California has issued a formal letter to the US Environmental Protection Agency, informing the Agency of its intention to sue for
violations of Section 304 of the Clean Water Act in relation to pollution by 'black carbon'.
The Center for Biological Diversity has linked the production of carbon with global warming, climate change and the melting of sea ice and glaciers. The body provides evidence to support its case
Given this evidence, the CBD suggests that the EPA has failed to update within a reasonable time frame, its clean water act provisions and that this failure is in violation of the Administrative Procedure Act. 5.
