TRIB to increase number of board positions

Falls Church, Virginia -- The US-based Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau (TRIB) said it plans to increase the size of its current board of directors to 16 directors from 12.

The additional four board posts will be held by three retreading companies and one tyre repair company, according to the Falls Church-based group, which said it has formed a nominating committee within TRIB's current board and potential nominees will be selected in the coming months. The organization's new board members will be elected during TRIB's board meeting in Las Vegas Oct. 31.

“We felt it was a good time to expand the board to further represent the interests of our many retread and repair member companies” TRIB President Bob Majewski said. “We look forward to reviewing potential nominees and adding to the strength of our board during our meeting in Las Vegas.”
