On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract rose by yen 13 overnight, trading at yen 376 ($4.74) per kg on Wednesday 13 July. Shorter-dated prices also rose to around yen 377.

In Singapore, SGX said November RSS3 was sharply on Tuesday's prices at around $4.70. TSR 20 for delivery in Jan 2012 was trading up by $0.10 at $4.52.

In India, the NMCE saw July deliveries rise by around 2 rupee, to around Rs212.9 ($4.78) per kilo

In China, the Shanghai Futures Exchange also saw prices unchanged, with July deliveries trading at around Yuan 33.8 ($5.23) per kilo
