Tokyo -- Bridgestone Corp. says its launch of the Potenza S001 RFT is the first runflat tyre aimed at Japan's replacement market. The tyre is being marketed in four different sizes from 1 July, 2011.
Bridgestone said the tyres uses functionalised polymers in which the main carbon backbone has a functionalised group grafted on to the end of the polymer chain.
