UK tyre industry to begin regular briefings

London -- UK tyre lobby group Tyresafe has said it will begin a series of quarterly briefing meetings on 7 September this year.

The group has issued an open invitation to all stakeholders to attend. Those wishing to attend the free event should register with TyreSafe by calling +44 (0)1787 226995.

Attendees will hear presentations from two TyreSafe members on key topics that will impact significantly on the industry over the coming 12 months. The first will be from the Highways Agency who will provide an outline about their revised road safety remit and how companies can work with the organisation to improve road safety. The second presentation will be from Tyresure, a longstanding member of TyreSafe, who will provide a briefing about the impending legislative changes regarding tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) and how workshops need to equip themselves accordingly.
