On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract moved up by 8 yen ovenight, trading at yen 388 ($4.92) per kg on Wednesday 20 July. Shorter-dated prices also moved up by 10 yen, to around yen 384.
In Singapore, SGX said October RSS3 was trading down up by nearly $0.10, at around $4.80. TSR 20 for delivery in December 2011 was trading down by $0.08 at $4.65.
In India, the NMCE saw September deliveries rise by Rs 3, to around Rs 214 ($4.81) per kilo
In China, the Shanghai Futures Exchange also saw prices rise by half a yuan, with August deliveries trading at around Yuan 34.7 ($5.37) per kilo
