EU tyre labels: the Chinese view

Beijing - Ahead of its 15 Sept meeting on EU tyre labelling rules, the China Rubber Industry Association (CRIA) has published a briefing paper on its website.
The long paper covers the questions of what is tyre labelling with a comprehensive factual description of the EU rule and the label.
The notice then goes on to discuss the five main themes of the meeting in Yantai:
Michael Staude will discuss the main requirements
A review of the differences between car tyre and truck tyre implentation
A review of how this might fit with China's second five-year-plan
A Ministry spokesman will discuss raw materials supply in connectino with this policy
Lanxess AG representatives will discuss how their materials can help tyre makers meet the requirements.
