Lehigh adds butyl powder to recycling protfolio
ERJ staff report (DS)
Atlanta, Georgia -- Lehigh Technologies is now offering butyl rubber based micronised powders under the names, MicroDyne and PolyDyne. Lehigh said the powder can help customers managing the challenge of rising butyl rubber costs due to short supply. Lehigh said the product also helps to improve the sustainability of customers' products.
In a 25 July statement, Lehigh said, "Prices of butyl rubber, a key component in tyre and industrial products, continue to rise. Lehigh's butyl products, made with the highest quality and consistency, stretch the butyl compound's usage, helping manufacturers manage costs without sacrificing performance"
