Jakarta - Hankook has secured electricity supplies for its new Indonesian rubber plantation through a contract with local electricity supplier, PT PLN. PLN will supply power to the facility in the industrial area Lippo Cikarang Bekasi District under a special, high service reliability contract.
PLN said it will deliver power via 150 kV cables. The first stage from March 2012 will be a 30 000 kVA capacity, rising to 60 000 kVA from August 2015. The contract length is 20 years, with options to extend.
